How To Make Perfect Soft-Boiled Eggs (Eggs & Soldiers)

While soft boiled eggs can be delicious, they can also be very difficult to make perfectly. Boil water, add eggs, and time for five minutes on low with the pot covered. If you want toast “soldiers” with your eggs, make the toast while the eggs are boiling, then cut it into strips to dip in the egg. After the timer goes off, run the eggs under cold water and peel carefully, eat mashed or whole.

Raleigh in 3 Hours

If you’re ever in Raleigh, North Carolina, here are some highlights to see the city in just three hours. First, head downtown to the farmer’s market, which has a load of good produce. Next, head downtown. NC State has a great campus, and downtown has many nice statues. if you like doughnuts, the Raleigh Krispy Kreme has a glass wall to watch the doughnuts making process. There are also lots of great restaurants and tea houses after a quick tour of the downtown.

A group of women tried Dr. Oz’s detox diet. Each of them had different problems with it. Marcella was very hungry, and now thinks she needs to get more meat and protein in her diet. Tuanh hates quinoa and prunes, but loved chia seeds and kale. Laurel had no problem with the diet overall, but it left her gassy. Glenda, who had trouble sleeping, also wanted some meat in her meals. Laura, meanwhile, was full but didn’t think the detox went the way it was supposed to.

Tarheel 10 Miler Race Recap

Anne wrote about her experience in running a 10 mile race at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. There was a friendly vibe to the race and Anne did not take it too serious and tried to have fun. Anne had some difficulties with the course initially, but managed to overcome them. Her and her friends all completed the race and enjoyed the experience of running and seeing the scenery of UNC-Chapel Hill. They ended with a celebration at a favorite restaurant to reminisce and enjoy each other’s company.

Here is a red beans and rice recipe that is simple and healthy. While similar to other recipes on the web, this is simple and a little different, combining celery, bell pepper, white onion, garlic, and olive oil with 2 cans of red beans; the whole thing is seasoned with paprika, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, bay leaves, Tabasco, salt and pepper. Andouille sausage is optional, but the recipe will be great without it.
