Squeeze in mini-workouts throughout the day!

I have a home-based business marketing healthy chocolate and green products, so I can squeeze in mini-workouts while I'm working, but anyone can do these things. Since my business is focused on health and well-being, I make exercise a priority, so in addition to regular jogs and bike rides around the lake, I also do the following:

1. I have an inflatable exercise ball that I will sometimes use instead of my office chair to help strengthen my core.
2. When I'm on long conference calls that don't require my absolute attention or note taking, I will put my speaker phone on mute to do push ups, sit ups, squats, lunges, bicep curls, other light weight exercises, and/or stretching exercises.
3. To help me remember to do enough push ups, I will do 10 against the counter or wall each time I touch the microwave or refrigerator.
4. I also keep a resistance band at my desk, so if I'm feeling a little tired or I'm starting to zone out, I'll pull it out to do some simple strength exercises.

Love # 3

All great tips but I love #3, I can do that when I re-heat my coffee.
