I am a professional Yoga Sport Coach and must stay on top of my own fitness while at the same time having to spend a lot of time on the computer doing PR and other computer business tasks. I work at home so I do have a little freedom to move as I choose. Sitting long can take a real toll so what I've started doing is wadding up all the little pieces of to do lists and memos as I finish with them and throw them on the floor, I toss to the floor everything that has to be filed, put on the calendar, phone messages, etc so that Ihave to stretch and breath to get down to get each piece individually. I try to run up and down the stairs to fit quick chores in while pages are loading or printing. I also keep a blanket behind my chair so that i can slip in Sun Salutations, Tai Chi, Chi Gong and other stretches, push ups while i'm waiting. Keeping a small set of weights at my computer desk and a squeeze ball to keep hands strong has proven excellent also.
